Vice President, Marketing

We are seeking a Vice President, Marketing with experience marketing advanced software technologies. The Vice President, Marketing is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive, compelling marketing, branding and communications strategy to increase the awareness and visibility of NovoDynamics and drive the growth of the business. This individual will plan, organize and manage all strategic marketing functions including product positioning, messaging, campaign development, demand generation and lead qualification.


As a key member of the executive team, the Vice President, Marketing will help drive the vision and strategy for the Company and play a major role in accelerating its growth.


Specific Responsibilities:

  • Lead the cross-organizational planning and coordination required to position the Company and its product and service offerings

  • Develop a marketing strategy and corresponding marketing plan that includes marketing campaigns, webinars, creation and maintenance of web content, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, trade show participation and social media strategies

  • Conceptualize, create and develop campaign tracking, lead generation and lead management tools and processes; he or she will specifically be responsible for designing and building a complete marketing pipeline process

  • Manage channel marketing activities

  • Manage the marketing budget

  • Over time, hire, lead, develop and mentor the marketing team



The ideal candidate will have experience marketing advanced software technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence, Pattern Recognition, Data Mining, Data Warehousing, Image Analysis or Predictive Analytics. Candidates must have a proven track record of driving marketing programs leading to sustained revenue and profitable growth. Experience in a start-up or rapidly growing small company is required. Preference will be given to candidates who have successfully built a technology marketing organization from the ground up.


In addition, the successful candidate will have:

  • 10+ years of progressive software marketing experience

  • 5+ years in a senior marketing management role (Director or VP level)

  • Demonstrated success at leading effective marketing communications

  • Strong analytical skills

  • A keen ability to effectively communicate highly technical information to a non-technical audience

  • Experience creating and managing operational budgets

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

A Bachelor’s degree is required. An MBA is preferred.
